  • Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a warm, judgment-free space. We’ll talk a bit about what brings you here, what you’re struggling with, and what you’d like from therapy — whether you’re experiencing stress, overwhelm, burnout, relationship struggles, or navigating your LGBTQ+ or gender identity. It’s a gentle start, at your own pace.

  • It really depends on you and your goals. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others appreciate ongoing support over months or even years. We’ll check in regularly and adjust as we go, making sure therapy feels helpful and aligned with your needs.

  • You do not need a doctor’s referral to start therapy with me. Anyone in Ontario can reach out directly to book a session — whether you’re looking for trauma-informed therapy, Internal Family Systems, or somatic approaches. However, if your health benefits require a referral for reimbursement, please check with your provider first.

  • Psychotherapy from a Registered Psychotherapist may be covered by your workplace benefits or health plan. It’s a good idea to check directly with your provider first. I will provide a receipt after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.

  • We can explore whatever feels most alive for you — from stress, overwhelm, burnout, low confidence, or relationship struggles, to navigating your gender, sexuality, or other aspects of your identity. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+ affirming, honoring all parts of you and your lived experience. Whatever you bring, we’re in it together.
